Versace’s designs became synonymous with boldness, sensuality, and luxury, but his
true genius lay in transforming his creations into something larger than clothes—into
cultural artifacts. By turning his runway shows into theatrical spectacles and his
collections into visual stories, Versace elevated fashion into a form of performance
art.
The “Gianni Versace Retrospective” exhibition offers the chance to get up close to his
designs and presents numerous original artifacts that he created.
The exhibition`s emotional depth, aided by music, videos, and personal artifacts,
embodies Versace’s ethos: “You find me in my work.” It provides visitors not only a
glimpse into his creative brilliance but also a chance to walk alongside him, from the
ancient roots of Italy to the pop-infused streets of New York and Miami.
The “Gianni Versace Retrospective” was developed by Dreamrealizer in Germany and is on an international exhibition tour with Expona.
