“Viva Frida Kahlo” is the first immersive staging of the world-famous works of legendary Mexican artist and icon Frida Kahlo. A truly sensual experience—an explosion of colors and pure vitality!

This 360-degree experience transports visitors to Mexico, into the Casa Azul in Coyoacán, where the young Frida Kahlo, bedridden after a severe accident, begins to paint.

“Viva Frida Kahlo” is an experience for everyone: visitors are drawn into Frida Kahlo’s world, stepping into the 1920s to 1940s and immersing themselves in her vibrant paintings and self-portraits—testimonies of a life filled with grace, pain, and unbreakable willpower. Moving freely within the exhibition space, they witness elaborate 360-degree projections that create exotic worlds of color and emotion, allowing them to experience Frida Kahlo’s works in an unprecedented way.

Using state-of-the-art high-performance projectors, Kahlo’s paintings—originally quite small—are brought to life, projected onto walls up to 34 meters long and 10 meters high, as well as onto the floor of the exhibition hall.

For a truly immersive sensory experience, a narrator, embodying the artist, guides visitors through Kahlo’s emotional world using original quotes. A specially composed soundtrack enhances the staging acoustically.
